The following are the most common types of caster brakes, tailored to the needs of different scenarios:

1. Side Brake

Breaking is achieved by pressing the brake pedal on the side of the caster, which only locks the wheel's rotation but does not restrict steering. This simple design and easy operation make it suitable for light-loaded equipment or applications requiring steering flexibility, such as small carts and tool racks.

2. Full Brake (Dual Brake/Combined Brake)

This simultaneously locks the wheel's rotation and the universal joint's steering. After braking, the caster cannot roll or turn, providing exceptional stability. This is ideal for applications requiring complete equipment fixation, such as industrial equipment and precision instrument carts.

3. Foot Brake

Breaking is activated by pressing the brake lever downward. Most models offer a convenient "one-touch brake, one-touch release" operation, eliminating the need to bend over and providing efficient and labor-saving operation. These are widely used in applications with frequent movement and stationary conditions, such as factory workshops and warehouses.

4. Central Brake (Linked Brake)
A single lever simultaneously brakes multiple casters, securing the entire device in place and eliminating the tedious operation of individual brakes. This feature is ideal for large equipment or carts with multiple casters, such as logistics carts and large display cases.
