The price of industrial casters is influenced by a variety of factors, primarily the following:

Material selection: Casters made of different materials vary significantly in price. Nylon casters are relatively inexpensive, stainless steel casters are more expensive due to their corrosion resistance, polyurethane casters are moderately priced, and rubber casters are more expensive due to their improved shock absorption and noise reduction.

Load capacity: The higher the load capacity, the higher the material and structural requirements for the caster, and the higher the price. For example, a high-load or extra-heavy-duty caster capable of bearing over 3 tons may cost over 300 yuan, or even over a thousand yuan, while an ordinary caster capable of bearing several hundred kilograms may cost only a few dozen yuan.

Size and specifications: The larger the caster, the more material is used, and the higher the price. Furthermore, casters with special specifications, such as non-standard sizes or customized designs, are more expensive due to the high R&D and production costs.

Manufacturing process: Injection molding is suitable for large-scale production and is relatively inexpensive; machining is suitable for small-batch, high-variety production and is more expensive. Some high-end casters may require special surface treatments or coatings, such as electroplating or painting, which increase production costs and, consequently, prices.

Bearing Type: Ball bearings offer low friction, high speed, and high load capacity, but are more expensive. Needle roller bearings are suitable for heavy loads and slow speeds and are moderately priced. Sliding bearings offer a simpler structure and lower cost. Bearingless casters are suitable for light loads and slow speeds and are the lowest cost.

Brand and Supplier: Casters from reputable brands typically offer better quality assurance and after-sales service, but are also relatively more expensive. Different suppliers have varying production costs, overheads, and profit margins, which can also lead to price differences.

Market Supply and Demand: Suppliers may raise prices when market demand is strong; they may reduce prices for promotions when market demand is low. Furthermore, factors such as raw material price fluctuations, production capacity constraints, and increased transportation costs can also affect caster prices.

Special Features: Casters with special features, such as brakes, tend to be more expensive due to the increased cost of the brake. Features such as anti-static and silent features can also increase the price of casters.
