When using polyurethane (PU) casters on concrete floors, the advantages of their elasticity should be balanced with the rough, easily abrasive nature of the concrete floor. Key considerations include selection, use, and maintenance to prevent premature damage.

I. Selection Recommendations
Prefer high-hardness (Shore A 90-95), wear-resistant industrial PU wheels over ordinary soft PU. A "PU-coated nylon core" construction is recommended to increase load-bearing capacity (up to 300–500 kg per wheel) and prevent pure PU wheels from cracking and deformation. The wheel surface should be smooth, free of bubbles and burrs.

II. Usage Specifications
Strictly limit the load to 80% of the maximum load-bearing capacity. Overloading can cause deformation and accelerate wear. Avoid dragging, sudden stops, or high-speed driving (>3 km/h) to prevent impact cracking and high friction temperatures. Keep away from sharp objects and gravel on the floor.

III. Daily Maintenance
Clean the wheel surface daily to remove sand, gravel, and dust. Inspect and remove embedded impurities weekly. Padded wheels should be used to prevent deformation when not in use for extended periods. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, and contact with oils and solvents to prevent aging and swelling.

IV. Structural Adaptability
Select a large diameter (≥75mm) and wide wheel design to improve obstacle clearance and stability. Equip with double-sealed bearings to prevent dust, and ensure the bracket is securely installed to prevent uneven wear.

V. Fault Warning
If deep scratches, cracks, hardening, softening, or unusual noise or sticking occur, discontinue use and replace immediately.

In summary, when using PU casters on concrete floors, it's important to: select a hard, wear-resistant model, manage loads to avoid impact, and clean them frequently to prevent sticking. This can significantly extend the lifespan.
