According to reports, South Korean researchers have monitored the number of bacteria attached to objects that people often touch, and found that the most attached bacteria are the handles of supermarket shopping carts.
There are as many as 1100 colony forming units per 1.55 square inch (colony formation). The unit is a method of calculating the number of bacteria. The higher the value, the more bacteria it contains. It is generally believed that Internet cafes with too many bacteria have a much lower number of colonies attached to the same area than the handle of a shopping cart. There are only 690 on average, ranking second in the "Bacteria List".
The third and fourth places on the list are bus handles and public bathroom door handles respectively. In addition, elevator buttons and subway car handles are also on the list.
