Wheel body: Prefer wear-resistant and age-resistant polyurethane (PU)-coated wheels or high-hardness rubber wheels. Avoid ordinary recycled rubber (which cracks easily) or soft plastic wheels (which wear and deform easily). Check the wheel surface for bubbles, missing glue, or burrs. The rubber-coated wheels must adhere tightly to the rubber layer and show no debonding.

Bracket: Prefer stainless steel or galvanized steel with a thickness of ≥1.5mm to prevent rust and deformation. Avoid thin iron (<1mm) or iron brackets without rustproofing. Check for burrs on the edges, secure welds, and no loosening, noise, or noticeable deformation when shaken.

 

Structure:

Rotation: Must be equipped with dual ball or needle bearings with dust covers. Rotation should be smooth, without any sticking, noise, or wobble. Avoid single-bearing or no-bearing designs.

Load-bearing design: The larger the wheel diameter, the better (≥50mm for medium-sized furniture). The bracket width should be ≥ 1/2 the wheel diameter (e.g., a 50mm wheel should have a bracket width ≥ 25mm). A bracket that is too narrow may deform.

 

Performance Test:

Load-bearing capacity: The wheel can bear a load without collapsing or tilting. The actual load should be ≤ 80% of the stated load (allow for a margin). Be wary of ambiguous markings.

Turn/Brake: Steering is smooth and flexible when pushed (universal wheels with 360° rotation). The brakes should be engaged to lock the wheel in place; release to restore smooth steering.

Environmental Resistance: For humid environments, choose a stainless steel frame with PU wheels; for exposed environments, choose PU or UV-resistant rubber wheels.
