1. Wheels
Visually inspect the wheels for wear. Poor wheel rotation is related to debris, ropes and other debris. The anti-tangle cover can block the entanglement of these debris. How loose or tight the heavy-duty casters are is another factor. Replace damaged wheels\u002f heavy-duty casters to avoid unstable rotation. After inspecting and replacing the wheels, make sure the axles are tightened with lock washers and nuts. Because a loose axle can cause the wheel width friction bracket to get stuck. Replacement wheels and bearings should be provided to avoid production losses.
2. Heavy casters
If the steering wheel is too loose, it must be replaced immediately. If the center rivet of the heavy-duty caster is not fixed by the nut, make sure it is tightly locked. If the steering system cannot rotate freely and freely at the beginning of the movement, check the balls for corrosion or dirt. If a machine is equipped with fixed heavy-duty casters, it must be ensured that the Chinese heavy-duty caster brackets are not bent.
3. Lubrication
Conventional lubricants, wheel and travel bearings are all suitable for long-term use. Apply grease to wheel axles, seals, and roller bearings to reduce friction and allow for more flexible rotation. Typically, lubricate every six months. Wheels should be lubricated after monthly cleaning.
4. Brackets and fasteners
Tighten loose shafts and nuts and check for damage to welds or support plates. Overload or collision can cause the bracket to twist. Twisted supports allow heavy loads to tilt relative to individual wheels, causing premature wheel failure. If it is a bayonet-type heavy-duty caster, please tighten the nuts or rivets to ensure that the equipment mounting bracket is not bent and the bayonet is installed correctly. When installing heavy-duty casters, lock nuts or lock washers should be used. The installation of expansion rod type heavy-duty casters should ensure that the rod is securely installed in the casing.
5. Overload
Overloading is the main reason for the short service life of heavy-duty casting machines. It will cause the support frame of the heavy-duty casting machine to deform and affect the trajectory of the steel balls. Therefore, try to avoid overloading heavy-duty casters and make better use of them within their scope of use.
6. Use different wheels in different places.
Heavy-duty casters with different materials are selected for different use places of the enterprise. Different materials have different physical, chemical and technical properties. The different materials of heavy-duty casters require different environments in which we use them. Of course, the service life of heavy-duty casters is also different. In order to avoid such research situations, it should be used according to the product design instructions provided by the manufacturer.
