Regarding how to choose industrial casters, I believe you already know how to choose it, so a good caster and bearings are inseparable. We all know that the use of casters cannot be separated from the bearing auxiliary. The caster bearing should be suitable for its own application site, but it should also leave a sufficient safety margin. So how do we choose this caster bearing? Below we teach you how to choose it.
1. Tapered bearings - Tapered bearings are one of the important components of rolling bearings. In particular, they have the advantage of extending the range of caster use and providing improved maneuverability over traditional bearings.
2. Roller bearings - In addition to wear-resistant and deep groove ball bearings, this sturdy impact-resistant bearing is mainly used in transportation equipment casters. Compared with other bearings, roller bearings are distinguished by their low mounting height, relatively low rolling friction and large loads. Wheels equipped with roller bearings cannot move more than 4 kilometers per hour, which is close to the speed of human walking.
3. Precision ball bearings - Specially designed, single-row radial precision ball bearings that comply with German Industrial Standards (DIN) are the highest quality among bearings. Wheels equipped with these ball bearings maintain extremely low rolling resistance even under heavy loads.
4. Ordinary bearings - The simple form of wheel bearing structure is the sliding or friction of the bearing. They are shock-resistant, require little maintenance and, by virtue of the properties based on these materials, have improved corrosion resistance. For enterprise equipment, we only need to use mobile for short distances and low rotational speeds.
